Who we are
Wuba Stories makes read-along picture-book stories. This notice covers the wuba.tv website. Questions? Email hello@wuba.tv.
This site is for grown-ups
wuba.tv is for parents and caregivers. It is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has given us their email address, write to hello@wuba.tv and we will delete it.
What we collect
To join the waitlist you give us your email address and confirm that you are a parent or caregiver aged 18 or older. We then email you a link to confirm.
We only add you to our list if you click that link and confirm. When you do, we keep your email address, the time you confirmed, and a note that you signed up on wuba.tv. If you never confirm, we don't add you to our list; our email provider keeps its standard delivery records of the confirmation email it sent.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
How we use it
Only to send you occasional emails about Wuba Stories, such as launch news. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who helps us
- Resend sends our emails and stores our mailing list.
- Vercel hosts this website, including an automated check that helps stop bots from abusing the sign-up form.
Cookies
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The bot check on the sign-up form may use a technical cookie for that purpose only.
Your choices
Every email we send after you confirm has an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@wuba.tv to unsubscribe, to see what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe we keep a record of that so we don't email you again, unless you ask us to delete your address entirely.
If you got a confirmation email you didn't ask for, just ignore it. We won't add you to our list or email you again unless someone signs up with your address again.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update it here and change the effective date above.
